| BBC World Service Trust - Cambodia BBC World Service Trust (BBC WST) is an NGO working in many countries on health and media development issues. In Cambodia we are funded by the UK Government's Department for International Development to run a three year campaign on HIV and Maternal and Child Health.
Drama-Taste of Life
Taste of Life is a TV drama series of 100 half-hour episodes. We have started shooting from April 2004 and went on air in December 2004. We also produce a magazine based on the series and distribute 66,000 copies of each edition through Popular magazine and many NGOs and government bodies.
Radio Phone-ins BBC WST supports the production and broadcasting of three live radio phone-in programmes every week with two Cambodian partner stations – FM 103 and RNK AM 918.
Radio Spots During our campaign we are producing 55 different radio spots, each of which will be broadcast many times by our partner stations. There will be a total of over 44,000 radio spot broadcasts during the two years on air.
TV Spots We are also co-producing 55 TV spots, broadcast mainly on TV5 and TVK. Extra airtime on other TV stations has been bought for many of the spots by our partner UNICEF, enabling a far greater reach for some of the issues covered. |
